International Perspective

The Sir William Beveridge Foundation conducts practical projects on providing culturally-appropriate health and social care services for elderly people. Its main theatre of operations are currently in the UK and Bangladesh. But the organisation also takes a broader and strategic worldwide view on issues and debates surrounding health and social care.

“The Beveridge Foundation was founded on the principle of care for the community by the community,” said Rahman Jilani, Executive Director and Founder.” The aim was to provide care and support for the most vulnerable in society, the elderly as well as providing employment opportunities for men and women from the same communities to provide that care.
