SWBF Therapy Lead has won PhD scholarship Award in UK

Neurotherapy Advisor lead, Karen, has recently been successful at competing to win an NIHR PhD Scholarship funding award. Karen has now started work on a PhD research proposal focused on the Co-production of a combined physical and mental health intervention to help survivors of brain injury living at home in the community. Her work forms part of the Applied Research Collaboration in Kent, Surrey, and Sussex and is supported by Kent University and 2 clinical Consultant supervisors: SWBF Global Ambassador Professor/Dr. Mohamed Sakel, FRCP, UK, and Professor/Dr. Rafey Faruqui, Consultant Neuro-psychiatrist.
